About the Role

Play a key role in supporting safe, efficient anesthesia care by assisting the clinical team during procedures. If you’re detail-oriented, responsive, and ready to make an impact in patient care, we want you to apply!

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical and clinical support to the anesthesia care team pre-intra and post-procedure.
  • Support safe, efficient anesthesia delivery by anticipating clinician needs and responding in emergencies.
  • Prepare, inspect, troubleshoot, and maintain anesthesia machines, monitors, airway devices, and related equipment.
  • Assemble and restock supplies and emergency carts.
  • Assist with room setup, patient positioning/transfer, and equipment changes during cases.
  • Ensure all equipment and supplies follow Infection Control and manufacturer safety standards.
  • Provide supplies and equipment to each anesthetizing location in proper working order.
  • Prepare, maintain, and troubleshoot all types of anesthesia equipment (alarm systems, calibration and leak checking, medical gas cylinders, vaporizers, and ventilators).
  • Assist anesthesia providers with equipment and supplies needed for patient care and emergency care.
  • Manage anesthesia carts medication inventory and restock anesthesia supplies.
  • Perform point of use cleaning and handling of contaminated instruments.
  • Support the surgical team before, during, and after procedures, ensuring anesthesia equipment is clean, stocked, and ready for the next procedure.
  • Train new staff and conduct in-service training with existing staff, physicians, and CRNAs.
  • Maintain detailed records to ensure all equipment and supplies are in compliance with Infection Control and manufacturer safety standards.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1 year Anesthesia Tech experience required in Operating Room setting.
  • BLS required at time of hire.

Experience Level

  • 1 year Anesthesia Tech experience required in Operating Room setting.
  • 2 years’ experience as an anesthesia tech in lieu of certification

  • ASATT (American Society of Anesthesia Technologists and Technicians) certification

Salary/Compensations

  • Minimum Offer $16.79
  • Maximum Offer $27.67
