About the Role

As a Product Manager for Credit Cards, you will own the discovery and delivery of products and features that Questbank customers use to manage their money and investments. Your mandate is to solve customer problems, then build, ship, and improve them with your engineering, design, and data partners. This role sits at the intersection of customer experience, technology, and business strategy, aiming to seamlessly integrate investing, banking, and spending.

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end requirement gathering and definition process for highly complex, interrelated product functionality.
  • Strategically navigate technical cross-domain dependencies and descoping features when necessary to optimize sequencing and deliver continuous client value.
  • Develop a deep understanding of product performance drivers, identifying trends, anomalies, and opportunities.
  • Define and evolve the measurement framework for product areas to reflect true user and business impact.
  • Use data to make difficult trade-off decisions and challenge assumptions.
  • Maintain a solid understanding of technical architecture, system dependencies, and platform integrations.
  • Work in close partnership with engineering to navigate complex architectural trade-offs and address technical bottlenecks.
  • Reliably steer product execution from ideation to delivery, setting a predictable release cadence.
  • Balance execution velocity with code quality and long-term architectural stability.
  • Build cross-functional buy-in and organizational trust by distilling complex product updates into clear, strategic insights for leadership.
  • Provide proactive mitigation plans for upcoming risks.
  • Cultivate a high-performing squad environment by setting a clear strategic tone, navigating healthy conflict, and mentoring cross-functional team members.
  • Demonstrate a relentless focus on product and squad outcomes, championing collective accountability and pride in delivery.
  • Establish and track clear domain metrics, synthesizing customer insights, performance data, and competitor trends into tactical roadmap priorities.
  • Integrate AI-powered tools and prompts into daily operational workflows to analyze datasets, automate routine administrative tasks, and enhance data-driven decision-making.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of product management experience, with a track record of shipping consumer-facing digital products at scale, ideally in banking.
  • Demonstrated ownership of a product area end to end: strategy, discovery, delivery, measurement, and iteration.
  • Deep customer obsession, built from real customer conversations, behavioral data, and cohort analysis.
  • Fluency in data: ability to define metrics, run and interpret experiments, and know when to trust the numbers.
  • Strong communicator: ability to write clearly, present persuasively, and translate between technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Comfort operating in ambiguity: default to action, form a point of view quickly, and revise it when evidence suggests.
  • Ability to partner with engineering, design, user research, and product marketing to understand technical trade-offs and make smart calls.
  • Experience at high-growth startups, especially in fintech or other domains requiring complex systems thinking (preferred).
  • Experience launching net-new products or entering new markets, especially in regulated industries (preferred).
  • Strong opinions about UI/UX (preferred).
  • Experience with the financial services landscape and its regulatory environment (preferred).
  • A portfolio of side projects, prototypes, or things you've built (preferred).
