About the Role

The Clinical Coordinator is responsible for the clinical treatment of youth admitted to the Brooklyn RTF, including treatment planning, individual, family, and group therapy. This role also guides the RTF team in operationalizing the treatment plan and understanding the mental health and trauma needs of the youth and families served.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct clinical services for a caseload of 7 youth in the Brooklyn RTF, including clinical assessments, treatment/safety plans, and discharge planning.
• Ensure treatment compliance with all licensing body, government, and agency standards.
• Provide individual, family, and group therapy to meet youth goals.
• Lead treatment teams for individual caseloads, ensuring clear communication and guiding clinical interpretation of treatment objectives.
• Provide clinical and trauma-based supervision for Youth Advocates (YA) and Senior Youth Advocates (SYA).
• Lead treatment conferences using a youth-driven, family-centered approach focused on goal attainment.
• Support Sanctuary and TCI foundational practices through training and coaching.
• Assist in the admission process by reviewing clinical documentation and preparing youth for program integration.
• Collaborate with systems including ACS, county DSS teams, and DJJOY.
• Work with Transitional Coordinators to operationalize treatment goals in the community and ensure appropriate discharge services.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Provide clinical and trauma-based supervision to YA/SYA teams.
• Oversee communication and dispositional planning for the treatment team.
• Be on call 24/7 for urgent clinical needs of the caseload.

Requirements

• Must be over 21 years of age.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Documented performance of exceptional problem-solving skills.
• Prior experience working with adolescents.
