About the Role

The Clinical Supervisor is a key member of the program's leadership team, responsible for implementing and overseeing innovative clinical services, providing supervision and professional development to licensed staff, ensuring timely access to quality clinical care, managing administrative functions, and maintaining compliance with regulatory bodies.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and oversee new clinical services or models of care.
  • Ensure clients have timely access to quality clinical care.
  • Identify and address gaps in clinical services.
  • Lead the implementation of evidence-based treatments or innovative models of care.
  • Monitor client show rates and appointment availability.
  • Provide direct services to clients, including intakes and crisis interventions.
  • Supervise crisis intervention services.
  • Implement quality improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in quality assurance activities such as chart reviews and utilization management.
  • Provide individual and group supervision to program staff.
  • Integrate recovery, rehabilitation, treatment, and vocational components of the program.
  • Monitor and follow up on program incidents.
  • Participate in hiring and orienting new staff.
  • Complete performance appraisals in a timely manner and address performance concerns.
  • Conduct or participate in staff training and development.
  • Monitor staff attendance and vacation scheduling to ensure program coverage.
  • Supervise staff as appropriate to licensure.
  • Plan and participate in other program activities.
  • Facilitate team meetings, case conferences, and other meetings.
  • Ensure program and staff compliance with regulations and standards of care.
  • Utilize electronic databases to monitor billing and address fiscal or billing issues.
  • Identify and develop systems to improve program operations.
  • Serve as back-up to other program leadership, assuming responsibility for operations in their absence.
  • Perform other administrative duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • At least three years of experience working with adults living with mental illness.
  • Two years of supervisory experience is preferred.
  • Strong clinical group, family, and individual intervention skills required.
  • Good organizational, teamwork, and communication skills needed.
  • Ability to read documents for analytical purposes, including computer information and software.
  • Limited applications of manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination required.
