Responsibilities

  • Provide supervision, coaching, and development for house managers.
  • Ensure smooth, effective, and efficient operation of houses programmatically and financially.
  • Conduct residential audits for safety and welfare, including fire safety, MAR, training records, charts, active treatment, diets, mealtimes, billing, and environmental assessments.
  • Ensure prompt follow-up for internal and external audits and address concerns promptly.
  • Maintain programs in compliance with OPWDD regulations and governing agencies.
  • Review and recommend changes to program systems to meet individual goals.
  • Review staffing schedules for adequate coverage and consistency.
  • Monitor staff training records and teamwork, providing guidance for effective team function.
  • Conduct investigations as assigned by the Director of Corporate Compliance.
  • Provide regular written and verbal reports of audit discrepancies.
  • Train and develop Residential Staff on individual goal implementation and billing procedures.
  • Develop a procedures manual for new House and Assistant House Managers.
  • Hire and fire employees, and make recommendations regarding hiring, firing, and advancement.
  • Maintain required trainings and documentation.
  • Participate in required trainings.
  • Ensure a clean, safe, and orderly living environment for all individuals.
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

  • Thorough knowledge of OPWDD regulations.
