About the Role

PAC NYC is seeking a part-time Production HR Assistant to support the Production Department with administrative tasks, focusing on HR onboarding for weekly payroll, and occasional petty cash and invoice tracking.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the onboarding of new hires for the production department.
  • Instruct new hires through the onboarding process.
  • Check I-9 paperwork and identification.
  • Add new hires into ADP.
  • File new hire paperwork in People and Culture archive folders.
  • Cross-reference relevant information to Curtain Time.
  • Assist with the weekly payroll process as directed.
  • Add non-union and teamster employees into Curtain Time.
  • Assist in the creation of payroll spreadsheet for DWU.
  • Assist with monthly benefit reports for Production Labor unions.
  • Petty Cash Counting and Tracking as Assigned.
  • Invoice Tracking as assigned.
  • Perform other related tasks as assigned and required.

Requirements

  • Availability for 5-10 hours a week on an as-needed basis.
  • Availability for a week of training.
  • High volume weeks anticipated in September – November 2026.
  • Employee would be advised of anticipated work weeks on a quarterly basis.
