Responsibilities
- Schedule and coordinate the flow of materials between production stages.
- Review production schedules to anticipate required materials, equipment, and supplies.
- Provide input to management to reschedule in case of design changes, labor and material shortages, backlogs, and other potential schedule interruptions.
- Manage WIP variances at the work order level and work with manufacturing production and stores for timely and accurate material management.
- Manage change activity to WIP jobs at the work order level.
- Work independently with minimal supervision.
Requirements
- Ability to sit for prolonged periods and occasionally walk, bend, and lift up to 25 lbs.
Skills
- Knowledge of operating and scheduling procedures and processes
- Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Good MS Office, Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Solid knowledge of MRP, Oracle and Agile systems
Experience Level
- 3-5+ years production planning, scheduling or related work experience
Education Level
- A.A. Degree or equivalent experience, or any combination of education and experience
- Advanced experience using MRP, Oracle and Agile systems
- CPIM or APICS Certification
