About the Role

Carta is seeking a Sales Development Representative for the Americas Sales team. This high-growth, high-visibility role sits at the top of Carta Law's US revenue funnel, identifying and engaging legal leaders, fund managers, and asset managers. The role offers a clear progression path into a closing position.

Responsibilities

  • Own outbound prospecting through LinkedIn, cold calling, and digital outreach to identify targets, spark conversations, and book qualified meetings.
  • Collaborate with Sales Directors and fellow SDRs to develop prospect target lists that translate into commercial opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records of sales activity and client interactions.
  • Assist in preparing sales collateral and presentations.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments to ensure timely and relevant outreach.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in a B2B sales role.
  • Comfortable with outbound prospecting, cold outreach, and rejection.
  • Ability to engage effectively with sophisticated prospects, including lawyers, CCOs, and fund partners.
  • Ability to articulate Carta Law's value proposition clearly and confidently.
  • Ability to manage own pipeline and prioritize effectively.
  • Working understanding of CRM systems and sales tracking tools.
  • Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-moving environment.
  • Ability to collaborate well across functions, including with C-suite and lead lawyers.
  • Must be able to work Eastern Time hours (9am–6pm ET), Monday to Friday.
