  • 2+ years of experience in sell-side research, buy-side research, investment banking, valuation, or a related analytical role.
  • Demonstrated interest in pursuing a long-term career in sell-side Equity Research, with a genuine passion for fundamental research, investing and continuous learning.
  • Strong accounting, finance and valuation knowledge, including the ability to independently build and maintain three-statement financial models from a blank Excel worksheet and understand the relationships among the income statement, balance sheet and cash flow statement.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, with a proven ability to identify errors, validate assumptions, reconcile data and maintain high levels of accuracy across research products.
  • Strong research skills, including the ability to independently gather, evaluate and synthesize information from a variety of sources and develop thoughtful, evidence-based conclusions.
  • Strong analytical and data-oriented mindset with the ability to connect disparate information, identify emerging trends and convert research findings into actionable investment insights.
  • Self-starter with an ownership mentality who proactively identifies opportunities, anticipates potential risks, exercises sound judgment and consistently seeks ways to improve outcomes for the team and clients.
  • Resourceful, intellectually curious and motivated to explore questions independently, develop original insights and pursue answers without waiting for direction.
  • Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills, a positive and professional demeanor and the confidence to identify issues, offer solutions, voice independent views, ask thoughtful follow-up questions and contribute constructively to discussions.
