About the Role

We're looking for an experienced Mill Supervisor to lead our milling department and help drive safety, quality, and productivity. This role involves overseeing daily operations, supervising a team, coordinating workflow, and ensuring production goals are met efficiently while maintaining the highest quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and support Mill Operators during daily production.
  • Schedule and assign work to meet production goals.
  • Monitor milling operations and equipment performance.
  • Verify machine setups and ensure production meets specifications.
  • Conduct quality checks and ensure compliance with customer standards.
  • Coordinate preventative maintenance to minimize downtime.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and implement process improvements.
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate team members.
  • Maintain production reports and performance metrics.
  • Enforce company safety policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Partner with production, quality, engineering, and maintenance teams to improve operations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 3+ years of manufacturing, milling, or industrial production experience.
  • Leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of milling equipment and manufacturing processes.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement.
  • OSHA or other manufacturing safety certifications.
  • Experience using production reporting systems.
