About the Role

The Programmatic Supervisor oversees the day-to-day execution, optimization, and performance of programmatic digital media campaigns across various channels. This role translates client objectives into programmatic media recommendations and ensures campaigns meet business goals. The Supervisor will work hands-on within DSPs and guide junior team members, partnering with internal teams to ensure accurate and efficient execution. They will identify trends, surface insights, and provide recommendations to improve media effectiveness, while also training and mentoring junior staff.

Responsibilities

  • Manage junior team members responsible for client media buys in DSPs.
  • Direct the execution of programmatic deliverables to meet or exceed expectations.
  • Develop, grow, and maintain client relationships through exceptional service.
  • Contribute to action plans for digital media success, including optimization strategies.
  • Advocate for programmatic value by educating clients, partners, and internal teams on advancements.
  • Provide direction for improving campaign performance through optimization and new strategies.
  • Create and deliver presentations on campaign strategy and performance results.
  • Develop points of view on new technologies, trends, and opportunities in automated digital media.
  • Demonstrate deep technical understanding and problem-solving skills.
  • Partner with the analytics team on campaign measurement reporting and insights.
  • Lead insight meetings with clients detailing performance, optimizations, and opportunities.
  • Work with media partners to ensure accurate platform implementation.
  • Lead and assist in coaching, managing, and educating coordinators and planners.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of directly related experience in programmatic media.
  • 2+ years of experience managing a team.
  • Strong leadership skills and professionalism.
  • Comfortable presenting ideas to senior client management.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret campaign performance data.
  • Understanding of traditional and interactive media planning elements.
  • Resourceful, curious, and motivated individual.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
  • Strong analytics, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Strong client-facing experience with risk management abilities.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
