About the Role

This role involves continuous cardiac surveillance, monitoring real-time telemetry devices to track, detect, and interpret complex cardiac patterns and heartbeat variations. You will document irregular rhythms and escalate significant cardiac changes to medical staff for prompt intervention. Additionally, you will ensure operational readiness by testing, troubleshooting, and maintaining telemetry monitoring equipment and vital supply inventory.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor real-time telemetry devices to track, detect, and interpret complex cardiac patterns and heartbeat variations.
  • Document irregular rhythms and immediately escalate significant cardiac changes to nurses and attending physicians for prompt medical intervention.
  • Ensure 100% operational readiness by testing, troubleshooting, and maintaining telemetry monitoring equipment and vital supply inventory.

Requirements

  • BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
  • 2+ years of healthcare or customer service preferred
  • Hospital experience preferred
  • Basic knowledge of cardiac rhythms preferred
