About the Role

OneGroup is a growing insurance and risk management organization seeking a Personal Insurance Client Advisor to join their team. This role involves building client relationships, managing a book of business, and ensuring clients are adequately protected. Responsibilities

  • Handle a book of business, building relationships and ensuring efficient and accurate account activities.
  • Assist clients with policy changes, renewals, and claims processing.
  • Advise clients on the value proposition and comprehensive coverage options.
  • Conduct coverage and exposure reviews with existing clients.
  • Make personal introductions to new clients within 30-45 days of their effective date.
  • Review potential non-renewal issues with management.
  • Discuss reinstatement eligibility or rewriting coverage with carriers.
  • Quote and issue mid-term rewrites as exposures change.
  • Review renewal increases, explore rate relief options, and market if necessary.
  • Contact cancelled clients to determine reasons for cancellation and attempt to re-earn business.
  • Communicate with underwriters to resolve issues and protect client insurability.
  • Document all interactions with clients and carriers in the company system.
  • Obtain and update client contact information, focusing on email and phone number.
  • Advise existing clients on preferred premium payment methods.
  • Confirm and follow up on pending tasks in the company system.
  • Handle Reg. 34 issues and follow up with the DMV.
  • Keep clients informed throughout all processes.
  • Meet established metrics for account servicing, referral activity, call volume, attendance, and quality control.
  • Handle routine service matters when PL Assistants are unavailable.
  • Stay informed on important insurance coverage issues.
  • Stay current with primary insurance companies' underwriting guidelines, premium saving credits, and technology platforms.
  • Participate in seminars and classes for skills and knowledge development.
  • Perform other duties as required.
  • Maintain proficient knowledge of and comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Ensure adherence to policies, procedures, and internal controls.
  • Meet all training requirements in a timely manner.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Property & Casualty Agents/Brokers License
  • Maintain License through continuing education.
  • One to Three or more years of Insurance Experience is preferred
  • Strong expertise and knowledge in policy coverage
  • Customer Service Experience required
  • Ability to use menu-driven software in addition to Word and Excel
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a “team” environment
  • Good organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • All applicants must be 18 years of age or older.
