About the Role

RBC's AI Group is building reusable patterns to help teams across the organization design, build, and ship AI agents faster. This role drives the execution of these patterns, combining delivery and program leadership with deep engagement across engineering and product stakeholders. The goal is to help AI builders move from idea to shipped agent more quickly.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain roadmaps with clear milestones, deliverables, and timelines.
  • Translate strategic objectives into actionable, cross-team plans.
  • Identify, track, and escalate risks and issues with clear mitigation strategies and recommendations.
  • Prepare accurate and timely status and roadmap reporting for VP-level forums.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, product, data, cloud, AI) to ensure alignment.
  • Build stakeholder relationships to drive engagement and buy-in.
  • Optimize delivery processes, foster continuous improvement, and drive innovation.
  • Maintain portfolio-level delivery dashboards and metrics to inform leadership visibility and capacity/intake decisions.
  • Drive continuous improvement through retrospectives and process iteration.
  • Ensure delivery traceability from intake through close, balancing scope discipline against stakeholder pressure.

Requirements

  • 7+ years delivering technology solutions in software engineering, AI/ML, platform, or cloud-native environments.
  • Experience running delivery operations across multiple concurrent workstreams simultaneously.
  • Deep hands-on proficiency with delivery tooling (JIRA, dashboards, sprint analytics, automation).
  • Strong understanding of agile delivery (Scrum, Kanban, hybrid) with the judgment to adapt frameworks to context.
  • Proven ability to operate in technically complex domains.
  • Experience in regulated industries (banking/financial services preferred) with comfort navigating governance and compliance.
  • Strong instinct for risk identification and escalation management.
