About the Role
As a Retail Cashier, your primary role is to greet and engage with customers, fostering a welcoming atmosphere. Your proactive attitude drives sales efforts, ensuring every customer finds what they need. You will offer informed recommendations and assistance based on merchandise knowledge. Staying informed about casino events and patron groups enables personalized experiences, making every visit memorable.
Responsibilities
- Collect payments by cash, credit card, or TS Rewards points, ensuring correct change and processing internal charges according to department policies.
- Accurately complete daily sheets and correct all voids/errors according to the Cashier’s Training Manual.
- Ensure the MICROS system is closed out at shift end, prepare monies for bank deposit, and prepare the Cage drop using proper close out procedures.
Requirements
- Previous money handling experience with basic math skills required.
- Ability to work in a smoking environment for an entire shift.
- Ability to make decisions in a stressful environment.
- Ability to accommodate a flexible work schedule.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
