About the Role
Outpost is seeking a senior, creative product marketer to build and lead the product marketing function from the ground up. This role is crucial for driving demand and adoption of Outpost Gate Automation by ensuring target buyers understand the product and recognize Outpost as the market leader.
Responsibilities
- Own the messaging framework, including category story, persona-level messaging, and supporting evidence.
- Serve as the primary content producer for website content, videos, white papers, and content marketing reports.
- Manage PR, analyst relations, and earned media, including news beats, byline placements, and securing speaking opportunities.
- Develop sales enablement materials such as decks, case studies, one-pagers, battlecards, ROI tools, and demo narratives.
- Track the competitive landscape, maintain competitive analysis, and leverage win/loss insights for improved positioning.
- Lead product launches in collaboration with product and engineering teams.
- Create LinkedIn content for the company page and coordinate the content calendar for the leadership team.
Requirements
- Proven experience in enterprise B2B product marketing, including ownership of positioning, launches, competitive analysis, and sales enablement.
- Ability to independently run the product marketing function.
- Strong technical aptitude, with a preference for a CS/engineering background, to translate technical concepts into compelling marketing copy.
- Exceptional writing and presentation skills, with a portfolio of short- and long-form writing samples.
- Demonstrated ability to execute and deliver high-quality work independently.
- Genuine interest in the supply chain and applied AI.
- An awesome attitude, characterized by passion, optimism, comfort with unknowns, and the ability to have fun.
