About the Role

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Alarm Triage in San Francisco, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor access points and alarm activity, and assist tenants, visitors, and staff with professionalism. You will communicate clearly, respond to security-related concerns, and contribute to a welcoming environment through Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, people-first, and integrity-driven approach.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and/or property management personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial real estate buildings, lobbies, parking areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as directed by site procedures, and report suspicious or unusual activity to appropriate personnel.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and daily log entries while communicating relevant information to property management and Allied Universal leadership.

Requirements

Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
