About the Role

Serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. This role requires an armed guard card or license and offers the opportunity to contribute through teamwork, integrity, reliability, and a people-first culture.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and families by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an educational location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and critical events in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of school buildings, grounds, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify authorized visitors as directed, and report suspicious activity, policy violations, hazards, and maintenance concerns.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and communications with school personnel, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Requirements

• Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or a college degree.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Possess a Level III armed certification in Texas.
• Possess 5+ years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
