About the Role
The Sr. Manager, Pricing Solutions will support the development and drive the execution of pricing strategies and tactical plans for the US Structural Heart business. This role is essential for the healthy growth (revenue and margin) of the business, collaborating with various departments to lead all pricing aspects.
Responsibilities
- Partner with US Commercial leadership to analyze the product portfolio and develop/maintain/revise the product pricing strategy, including target pricing, volume-tiers, floor pricing, and contracting strategies.
- Conduct regular pricing reviews in cooperation with Marketing and Finance to manage positioning and pricing across the lifecycle, accounting for competitive price changes, inflation, demand changes, sales strategy, and positioning strategy.
- Identify developments in the pricing environment to evaluate potential impacts on Abbott Structural Heart and proactively identify strategies and actions.
- Provide market inputs and assumptions into annual brand planning, LRP process, and monthly IBP meetings, and develop price forecasts.
- Cooperate with the Enterprise Sales Team on pricing and contracting processes in the US, developing pricing strategies and analytics.
- Develop and provide pricing analytics to support development or adjustments to pricing strategies to increase share gains and protect/increase margin.
- Gather customer and competitive intelligence with Marketing to establish a value-differentiated pricing approach for new product launches.
- Align with the Commercial Excellence organization to ensure tools and processes support the pricing strategy and approach and are fully utilized.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or Marketing required.
- 5-10 years of relevant experience in pricing/strategy in a healthcare environment.
- Knowledge of US healthcare economics and price modeling.
- Strong analytical skills and financial acumen, including forecasting and pricing.
- Demonstrated ability to operate within a matrix structure and effectively collaborate, build productive relationships, and lead and influence at all levels of the organization and across cultures.
- Excellent verbal and communication skills.
- MBA, or other advanced degree relevant to the position is preferred.
- Strong customer orientation and focus.
- Demonstrated ability to execute in a fast-paced, results-driven organization through a high level of personal motivation and enthusiasm.
- Strong commercial orientation with a balance of operational and strategic business management capabilities in the medical device industry.

- $129,300.00 – $258,700.00
