About the Role
Institutional Client Group (ICG) facilitates primary origination, distribution, and secondary market-making of Fixed Income and Currencies (FIC) product suite and financing to institutional clients.
Responsibilities
- Cover important institutional clients at a senior level within the Rates Sales team as part of the Short Duration desk.
- Develop strong relationships with partners, senior Portfolio Managers, principals, and capital markets professionals at clients.
- Collaborate with product partners in trading and structuring to deliver creative client solutions.
- Engage in strategic planning, budgeting, and client wallet share analysis.
- Generate new revenue opportunities within Banks and insurance clients.
- Drive new business development, particularly within the Short duration space.
- Drive sales growth by creating new and developing existing relationships.
- Generate new revenue opportunities for the Rates business.
- Think strategically about the Business and stay on top of market themes/trends.
Requirements
- Series 7 & 63
- Proficient experience in Fixed Income
- Strong interpersonal skills for developing new client relationships and communicating with various Deutsche Bank teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Be a team player, anticipating and solving problems for the group.
- Have a consistent sense of urgency and strive to do your best.
- Strong communication skills to persuade investors to purchase Deutsche Bank services.
- Detail oriented and driven to succeed in a complex, fast-moving environment.
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced, time-sensitive work environment.
