About the Role

Samaritan Hospital, a member of St. Peter’s Health Partners, is seeking a Per Diem, Cashier to join its Food & Nutrition services team. This role supports opening and closing shifts in the cafeteria, performs clerical and money management tasks, and ensures client satisfaction and food quality in an efficient and safe manner.

Responsibilities

• Supports opening and closing shifts in the cafeteria
• Performs clerical and money management tasks in the retail areas
• Ensures client, customer service/satisfaction and food quality in efficient and safe manner
• Demonstrates professional behavior at all times
• Adheres to SPHP's code of conduct

Requirements

• Food service and customer service experience is required
• Ability to follow instructions
• Ability to read and write
• Weekend flexibility
