About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Consultant to join our market-leading Energy and Natural Resources practice, providing strategic communications to global companies within the sector. This role involves working closely with clients on integrated corporate reputation and capital markets workstreams.

Responsibilities

• Advising companies on strategically and impactfully reaching financial and corporate audiences during key business moments.
• Developing strategies to advocate and amplify a company’s perspective to key stakeholders, including media, investors, and employees.
• Partnering with wider account teams to ensure seamless delivery of strategic communications plans, corporate narratives, key messages, and Q&As.
• Engaging with key audiences such as media, influencers, and sell-side analysts.
• Coordinating event attendance and logistics.
• Playing a dynamic role in new business development for the Energy and Natural Resources team.
• Contributing to team strategies to enhance client relationships and identify new clients.
• Managing account teams, team members, and mentoring junior colleagues.
• Drafting documents with high attention to detail and managing colleagues to ensure timely execution of account deliverables.
• Interfacing regularly with clients in an advisory and executional capacity.
• Being flexible to engage in high-profile, fast-moving situations with short deadlines.
• Creating innovative thought leadership for the Energy and Natural Resources industry.
• Developing strong relationships with clients, potential clients, and industry stakeholders.
• Growing your network of journalist contacts.

Requirements

• Experience in an in-house communications role or at a communications consulting firm.
• Exceptional writing and research skills.
• Deep analytical capabilities to distill complex information into succinct messaging.
• Curiosity about the world with an appetite to deepen understanding about geo-politics, business, and finance.
