About the Role

Cash Construction, a MasTec company, is hiring a Project Scheduler to oversee resource management of field crews, assist with schedule planning, and monitor project timelines. This role involves travel to work sites within an assigned project area.

Responsibilities

  • Manage resource management schedules for all assigned projects.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain a scheduling management system.
  • Identify process efficiencies and create and manage new processes to drive efficiencies within project schedules.
  • Review progressed schedules against schedule deadlines.
  • Participate in meetings with senior operations management, peers and/or customers.
  • Participate in estimating and bidding projects, contract negotiations, and change order preparation.
  • Identify potential scheduling delays and facilitate remedial action.
  • Track and report on the progress of project activities.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers, team members, and other stakeholders to gather information and update schedules.
  • Works independently on complex assignments to establish the Proposal or Project Baseline Schedule.
  • Lead and execute Project Planning and Execution Planning Session.
  • Lead and execute Logic Development, Schedule Updates and Forecasting.
  • Ensure client Project Controls and Reporting specifications and requirements are met per contract.
  • Supports Project Management with project reporting requirements.

Requirements

  • Experience with Microsoft Project or P6 expert (MS Project preferred).
  • Minimum of 5-10 years’ experience as a Project Scheduler in related industry.
  • Experience supporting heavy civil and utilities construction projects.
  • Strong understanding of document control software and systems.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to document control.

Skills

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • $125K - $140K per year
