About the Role
This role drives the entirety of our social commerce efforts, owning the channel's full P&L, growth strategy, creator and affiliate programs, livestream commerce, merchandising, and operational performance. It sits at the intersection of culture, commerce, and performance, requiring strategic direction, alignment with senior leadership, team building, and results-driven execution.
Responsibilities

Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in e-commerce, growth marketing, influencer marketing, or social commerce
- 3+ years of leadership experience in a people management role
- Experience in personal care, beauty, or CPG is a plus, but not necessary
- Proven track record of cross-functional leadership, owning results, and setting strategy with conviction to senior stakeholders
- Organized, forward-thinking leader who builds systems that scale
- Passionate coach who develops high-potential talent
- Ability to set audacious goals and drive a team to achieve them
- Deep understanding of TikTok culture and commerce mechanics
- Performance-oriented entrepreneur who obsesses over P&L
- Killer creative instincts paired with rigorous, data-driven decision-making
- Comfortable setting strategy and rolling up sleeves to execute
- Ability to manage and develop a team, setting clear goals and priorities
- Act as a coach and mentor, developing talent
- Represent TikTok Shop with clarity and conviction in cross-functional forums and executive reviews
- Serve as the internal authority on TikTok platform trends, algorithm updates, commerce features, and AI-powered tools
- Track shifts in consumer purchase behavior on the platform
- Benchmark competitor activity and emerging formats
- Lead the discovery and launch of future social commerce platforms beyond TikTok Shop
