About the Role
As a Dietary Aide, you will contribute to the well-being of residents by providing compassionate dietary services. You will work in a fast-paced environment, building meaningful relationships with residents and ensuring a safe, clean dining experience while helping them live fully every day.
Responsibilities
- Assist with meal preparation and service
- Follow specific resident diets and food preferences
- Take menu orders from residents
- Set, clear, and sanitize dining room tables
- Adhere to proper food handling techniques
- Contribute to the culture of the home
Requirements
- Valid Safe Food Handler’s Certificate or willingness to obtain one
- Commitment to providing compassionate support to seniors
- Legal eligibility to work in Canada or a valid work permit
- Successful completion of a Vulnerable Sector Check and/or Criminal Record Check
