About the Role

Join our team to help children with special needs achieve greater independence and an enhanced quality of life. We are seeking passionate Occupational Therapists to provide therapeutic interventions and evaluations.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement creative individual and/or group therapeutic interventions for all children on your caseload.
  • Administer and write up occupational therapy evaluations.
  • Ongoing communication with lead supervisors & coordinators, specifically related to case management.
  • Maintain professionalism with families, school teams, and other professionals.
  • Maintain accurate and timely attendance and billing logs.
  • Create and maintain schedules with assigned individual families/school personnel.
  • Collects data on each IFSP/IEP goal and reports on progress quarterly.
  • Provide input and attend/teleconference initial CPSE/CSE meetings and/or annual reviews.
  • Perform comprehensive evaluations in clinic, home and/or preschool based settings.
  • Write detailed speech and language evaluation reports demonstrating the child’s abilities and areas of difficulties.
  • Work collaboratively with parents, teachers, and the evaluation team.
  • Develop appropriate functional goals using IEP direct.

Requirements

  • Graduate from an accredited university with a degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • Current New York State Occupational Therapy License.
  • Bilingual is a plus.

Salary/Compensations

  • Early Intervention: $64-$75/hour
  • Preschool: $70/hour
  • Full-Time, Salary $62,000-$65,000
