About the Role

Serves as a working shift supervisor for daily operations, directing, training, and coordinating assigned shifts for services provided to airlines and charter aircraft. Leads by example, demonstrating integrity, professionalism, and excellent communication skills, while motivating the team to achieve results with fairness and respect. Committed to serving the customer with a strong focus on excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Plans, organizes, directs, and participates in Ramp Services operations for commercial and charter aircraft.
  • Directs and trains assigned Agents, including new employee and ongoing in-service training.
  • Implements departmental policies and advises management on policy issues and operational improvements.
  • Coordinates services activities with air carrier personnel, station managers, and TSA representatives.
  • Participates in the operation and training of various equipment and ensures equipment maintenance.
  • Ensures compliance with FAA and TSA security regulations and implements necessary operational changes.
  • Maintains emergency checklists and supplies.
  • Prepares and submits verbal and written reports on service activities and agents.
  • Updates Multi-User Flight Information Display System (MUFIDS).
  • Coordinates communications between Airport, airline dispatch, and flight captains.
  • Handles business-related responsibilities including billing, payment data, cash handling, and supply ordering.

Requirements

  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Hours will vary based on flight schedules.
  • Number of weekly hours may increase or decrease due to seasonal flight changes.
  • Must possess a valid Driver’s License.
  • Must successfully pass a background investigation with a fingerprint-based criminal records check.
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug test and periodic random drug testing.
  • Must be able to work a variety of assigned shifts including evenings and weekends.

Experience Level

  • 1 year of experience in the aviation industry
  • 6 months of experience equivalent to an Airline Service Agent (ticketing and/or Ramp Services support)

Education Level

  • Must receive initial/advanced Operations Services training required by individual airlines within probationary period.
  • Must obtain and maintain a current Complaint Resolution Official (CRO) certificate when required.
  • Must obtain a Ground Security Coordinator certificate with certification for aircraft over 61 seats within the probationary period.
  • Must possess De-Icing/Anti-Icing certificate of training upon hire if required.
  • Must possess Aircraft Pushback certificate of training upon hire.
  • Must possess security search certificate of training upon hire.
  • Must possess Security Exit Door training certificate upon hire.
