About the Role

Paciorek Orthodontics is seeking an energetic, enthusiastic, and self-motivated Orthodontic Assistant with a positive attitude and excellent work ethic. This role is pivotal in supporting the doctor team and providing a high level of patient customer service in a fast-paced, high-tech environment.

Responsibilities

  • Establish a trusting rapport with patients, ensuring the highest level of patient customer service.
  • Educate patients on orthodontic care and treatment practices.
  • Work chairside with patient care, including assisting in placing and removing orthodontic appliances.
  • Take X-Rays and pictures.
  • Fabricate retainers.
  • Maintain patients’ charts and transcribe doctor notes accurately.
  • Keep patient rooms stocked and organized.
  • Clean, sterilize, and prepare equipment.
  • Be receptive to coaching and training from doctors to better develop skillset.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Requirements

  • Must be professional and able to multitask.
  • Must be energetic, enthusiastic, and a self-motivated team player.
  • Must have great communication and people skills.
  • Must be interested in making a difference in patient's lives.
  • Experience and certification is a plus but not required.
  • Ability to handle confidential information and protect patient confidentiality.
  • Dependable and reliable to be at work when scheduled.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Able to stay organized and follow instruction.
  • Maintain professional manner and appearance at all times.

  • Knowledge of Orthodontics and associated treatment appliances and equipment.

Salary/Compensations

  • $18-$22 per hour
