About the Role
The Salvation Army is seeking a Warehouse Associate/Backroom Processor to join their Production team. This role is crucial for efficiently sorting and processing products while ensuring quality and adherence to TSA policies and safety regulations.
Responsibilities
- Sort product efficiently and properly according to TSA policy.
- Provide Quality Assurance by inspecting products for defects and damages.
- Identify product correctly and direct to proper department for processing.
- Collect merchandise from the distribution center and safely transport materials.
- Follow safety measures established by TSA policy and government regulations.
- Maintain confidentiality as required for program operations.
- Obtain written approval for any overtime hours worked.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Store Manager or their representative.
Requirements
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- Demonstrated competency in skill area through verifiable training and/or experience.
- Ability to read and write.
- Ability to understand and follow both written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist on an intermittent or continuous basis.
- Ability to grasp, push, and pull objects.
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
- Ability to perform various repetitive motion tasks.
