About the Role

AECOM is seeking a Construction Manager to provide guidance, establish procedures, and oversee project administration during the construction cycle. This role involves managing technical, financial, and client satisfaction aspects, and is accountable for the day-to-day execution of planning, design, and construction management activities.

Responsibilities

• Provides guidance to employees within the latitude of established policies.
• Establishes procedures that affect immediate organization.
• Works on issues of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors, including understanding of current business trends.
• Acts as advisor to subordinates to meet schedules and/or resolve technical problems.
• May have budget responsibilities.
• Oversees the administration of projects during the construction cycle including technical, financial, and client satisfaction.
• Accountable for the development, coordination, and execution of the planning, design and/or construction management activities and personnel under individual's direction on a day-to-day.

Requirements

• BA/BS + 8 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
• MVR check required.
• 15 years' experience with TxDOT highway and bridge projects.
• TxDOT precertification as a Construction Superintendent.
• TxDOT certifications in EMS, ACI and TxAPA Level 1B.
• Ability to manage personnel and fleet vehicles.
