About the Role
This supervisory role oversees the daily operations of all Valley amenities, including racquet facilities, pool, hot tubs, and seasonal snow tubing, ensuring an exceptional member experience. The Valley Manager is responsible for managing the Valley team and collaborating with other departments to achieve operational excellence, safety, and seamless service.
Responsibilities
- Manages the day-to-day operation of The Valley to achieve optimum profit and ensure the highest quality of service.
- Manages daily operations of racquet facilities, aquatic amenities, wellness areas, seasonal snow tubing, and other Valley programming.
- Works closely with Food & Beverage leadership to ensure seamless service and high-quality offerings.
- Ensures prompt, efficient, and courteous service is consistently delivered throughout all Valley operations.
- Maintains compliance with all applicable health, safety, and operational regulations.
- Oversees staffing, scheduling, onboarding, coaching, training, and performance management of Valley team members.
- Coordinates with various departments to support daily operations and special events.
- Collaborates with Concierge and Club Operations teams to address member requests, needs, and concerns.
- Monitors operational supplies, equipment, and inventory, coordinating with vendors.
- Ensures proper cash handling and financial transaction procedures are followed.
- Assists with planning and executing member events, programming, tournaments, wellness activities, and seasonal experiences.
- Maintains a safe environment for members, guests, and employees by identifying and addressing potential hazards.
- Performs related duties and special projects as assigned.
- Ensures The Valley is Department of Health compliant at all times.
Requirements
- Previous supervisory or management experience, preferably in hospitality, recreation, club, resort, or service-related operations.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and team development skills.
- Ability to manage multiple operations simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and discretion.
- CPR/AED and First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to traverse all parts of The Valley, including indoor and outdoor facilities.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions during all seasons.
- Must be able to lift, pull, or push up to 50 pounds.
