About the Role
The Foreman is the primary leader of the three-person crew, responsible for the developmental, technical, and safety leadership of the team. This role ensures jobs are executed to the highest arboricultural standards while actively mentoring crew members.
Responsibilities
- Enforce 100% compliance with ANSI Z133 standards and maintain a zero-incident "Drop Zone."
- Perform precision pruning and complex removals (without cranes) while directing ground operations from the canopy.
- Serve as the communication bridge between management, English-speaking clients, and Spanish-speaking crew members.
- Lead the weekly Team Pulse and ensure every crew member has an active, updated Wheel of Life.
Requirements
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather and lift 75+ lbs.
- Valid Texas Driver’s License (Class C a plus).
- Willingness to obtain EHAP (Electrical Hazards Awareness Program) and First Aid/CPR certification.
- Proven capacity to lead, teach, and motivate a team of 3–5+ workers.
- Advanced proficiency in climbing (SRT/DdRT) and rigging.
- A commitment to the Core Values: charity, fortitude, and humility.
