About the Role

Kerry is the world's leading taste and nutrition company. This role is crucial for ensuring the efficient and safe operation of the Niagara Falls, NY manufacturing site, which produces essential organic salts for various industries.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently execute the production schedule.
• Develop and maintain efficient SOPs in collaboration with site engineers.
• Develop and maintain qualified personnel within the plant production department.
• Communicate and enforce regulatory & Kerry standards within the plant.
• Drive operational efficiency initiatives.
• Manage the plant production department within budget.
• Foster a positive working environment driving a continuous improvement theme.
• Collaborate with HSE officer to ensure a safe working environment.
• Manufacture product to specification.
• Minimize losses.
• Ensure HSE programs are instituted and followed.
• Management through KPIs.
• Supervise Operators.

Requirements

• 5+ years experience in manufacturing required.
• 2-3+ years demonstrated people leadership required.

Skills

• Analytical skills.
• Continuous improvement understanding.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing methodology.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Understanding of leadership and team development, motivation, coaching and influential skills.
• Chemical plant operations experience a plus.
