About the Role
As a Workplace Project Manager, you'll transform workplace playbooks and standards into delivered projects and programs, including office moves, openings, and global special projects like health & safety, design standards, emergency response planning, sustainability, and new tooling rollouts. This is a hands-on delivery role where you own scope, schedule, and budget from kickoff to close, ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to specification.
Responsibilities
- Project manage Workplace's global special projects: health & safety (H&S) programming, global design standards, global emergency response programming, Workplace Violence Prevention Plans (WVPPs), and sustainability programming across Harvey's office portfolio.
- Partner with Security, HR, Legal, and regional Workplace leads to build and roll out emergency response plans and WVPPs that meet local regulatory requirements while staying consistent with Harvey's global standards.
- Maintain and evolve global design standards (furniture, finishes, signage) so offices feel consistently "Harvey" as we scale into new markets.
- Drive sustainability initiatives across offices - vendor and materials selection, energy and waste programs - and track progress against goals.
- Own the global rollout of Workplace tooling and software - evaluating, piloting, and implementing platforms like desk booking, occupancy, and ticketing, and driving stakeholder training and adoption.
- Own global and national vendor contracts (F&B, janitorial, plants, and similar categories) - procurement, negotiation, and the master vendor relationship.
- Build and maintain the FDOB checklist and playbook that regional workplace leads execute against for satellite moves, expansions, and new-office openings.
- Own the portfolio-level calendar tracking when and where expansions and new offices are happening across the org, so Workplace can sequence and resource projects appropriately.
- Step in to lead a move, opening, or buildout directly where a region doesn't yet have an established workplace manager, or where the existing regional team doesn't have the bandwidth.
- Coordinate with IT, Security, and AV to keep day-one readiness standards current in the playbook.
- Build and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets across global programs and the FDOB playbook; track milestones, dependencies, and risks, and communicate status clearly to stakeholders and leadership.
- Maintain the portfolio-level view across all in-flight and planned moves, openings, and buildouts, flagging sequencing and resourcing risks to leadership.
- Manage vendor relationships tied to your global contracts and programs, holding them accountable to schedule and quality.
- Report to the Global Workplace Operations Manager to ensure every program and playbook meets Harvey's workplace standards and sets regional teams up for smooth steady-state operations.
Requirements
- 5+ years in workplace operations, program management, or project management, with experience leading cross-functional programs such as health & safety, emergency preparedness, sustainability, or systems/tooling rollouts.
- Strong program design and playbook-building instincts.
- Experience managing vendor and procurement relationships at a national or global scale.
- Strong command of project management fundamentals - scope, schedule, budget, risk, and stakeholder communication.
- Experience partnering with construction, real estate, or facilities teams on office moves or buildouts.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Comfort with ambiguity and a hands-on, get-it-done approach.
- Based in New York and able to work on-site at our NYC office.
- Willingness to travel to other sites as projects require.
