About the Role

This internship offers a unique opportunity to work with experienced professionals in an innovative and fast-paced engineering environment. Interns will gain hands-on, practical experience to build a solid foundation for career growth.

Responsibilities

• Release customer debits/credits related to sales tax requests.
• Assist with the backlog of customer debits/credits.
• Manually process debits/credits to prevent bulk processing.
• Contact customers for missing exemption certificates.
• Update CertifyTax with received exemptions.
• Cross-check Vertex and CertifyTax for accurate certificate updates.
• Assist with other sales tax project-related tasks as needed.

Requirements

• Must be pursuing a degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
