About the Role
The TELUS PureFibre team is expanding its world-class broadband network, connecting homes and businesses to Canada's fastest and most reliable internet. We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Financial Analyst to support the forecasting and analysis of multi-year capital allocation and operating financial data for this network expansion. You will be integral to the financial planning, reporting, evaluation, and management of our TELUS PureFibre program, supporting the team that develops financial models for our critical business agreements and supporting the budgeting and forecasting process.
Responsibilities
- Manage program requirements, including monthly forecast updates, and support variance and exception analysis.
- Develop clear and compelling narratives and supporting materials to communicate recommendations to various levels of leadership.
- Develop and present scenario planning outcomes.
- Continuously improve financial planning tools and their integration with source systems to increase accuracy, efficiency, and reporting quality.
- Find new ways to analyze data and structure models to give TELUS a competitive edge in evaluating mission-critical programs.
Requirements
- Finance professional with a strong understanding of corporate finance and experience within complex financial functions supporting the entire organization.
- Demonstrated ability to respond to inquiries and address exceptions related to payments, budgets, and reporting in a timely manner while managing competing priorities.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and Google Suite.
