About the Role

The TELUS PureFibre team is expanding its broadband network and is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support forecasting and analysis of capital allocation and operating financials for this network expansion. The role involves being a process owner for key growth initiatives, supporting financial planning, reporting, evaluation, and management of the PureFibre program.

Responsibilities

• Manage program requirements including monthly forecast updates, supporting variance analysis and exceptions.
• Build clear, compelling narratives and materials to support communication of recommendations to various leadership levels.
• Develop and present scenario planning outcomes.
• Continuously improve financial planning tools and their integration with source systems to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and reporting quality.
• Analyze data and structure models to give TELUS a competitive edge in evaluating mission critical programs.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, or a related field.
• 3-5 years experience in finance operations, FP&A, or management consulting, including developing and maintaining budgets, processes, and reporting dashboards.
• Demonstrated ability to address questions and exceptions related to payments, budgets, and reports in a timely manner while managing competing priorities.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and the Google Office Suite.
• Experience in the telecommunications, infrastructure, or technology sectors.
• Experience in a role that required interaction with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
