About the Role
As an Associate Corporate Account Executive, you will be a trusted advisor to corporate and mid-market customers, driving outcomes, expanding relationships, and growing NetApp's business through its integrated cloud, data, storage, security, and AI platform. This role is for sellers who want ownership, fast-moving deal cycles, and the opportunity to build from the ground up.
Responsibilities
- Develop a deep understanding of customer strategies, growth priorities, IT modernization goals, and transformation pressures, connecting them to NetApp's platform and portfolio.
- Act as a trusted advisor by guiding customers through data infrastructure decisions aligned to business outcomes.
- Demonstrate a strong hunting mentality to identify whitespace opportunities and expand business.
- Execute with rigor in a high-volume deal environment, maintaining disciplined pipeline management and forecast accuracy.
- Lead orchestration of an integrated pursuit team, ensuring a cohesive customer experience.
- Drive post-sale handoff to Customer Success with a clear value realization plan.
- Activate and leverage the partner ecosystem to extend reach and accelerate deal velocity.

- Translate technology decisions into business impact for IT buyers, Finance leaders, and line-of-business decision makers.

- Be a credible, consultative seller capable of building and pitching value-based proposals.
- Tailor discovery, storytelling, and ROI narratives for various buying personas.
- Be confident building ROI and TCO models, structuring deal economics, and guiding executives through financial decisions.
- Communicate crisply, timely, and in a persona-driven manner.
- Simplify complexity, move quickly, and keep deals advancing with clear next steps.
- Believe in orchestration and leverage, activating ISRs, partners, and specialists.
- Balance in-quarter deal execution with multi-quarter territory planning.
- Build pipeline through proactive outreach, targeted campaigns, and partner-led sourcing.
- Be committed to customer satisfaction and solution adoption.
- Maintain healthy long-term relationships that drive retention, expansion, and referrals.
