About the Role

Corner Table Restaurants (CTR) is seeking a Corporate Staff Accountant to join their growing team. CTR is dedicated to making people happy through delicious food and drinks, while fostering a positive and supportive culture for employees, guests, and the community.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Monthly and Year-end accounting close.
• Prepare monthly journal entries of prepaids and accruals.
• Maintain an accurate and organized audit trail of all month-end related tasks.
• Perform daily banking reconciliations and credit card transaction review for all restaurant locations.
• Maintain detailed reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts.
• Review and audit the accuracy of general ledger coded expenses with the operations team.
• Assist in maintaining accurate files for the accounting department.
• Verify accounts by reconciling statements and transactions regularly.
• Assist in Quarterly & Annual 3rd party CPA reviews.
• Supervise Accounting Staff members as assigned.
• Perform other duties as required or assigned by company senior leadership.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 3-5 years of industry-related accounting experience.
• Excellent Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables and V-lookups).

• Excellent understanding of all components of Accounting including ERP systems, databases and metrics.
• Proactive, resourceful, and efficient.
• Ability to work in a hands-on fluid growth environment.
• Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, listening and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build relationships at all levels.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
