About the Role
This role is responsible for ensuring operational data is fit for purpose, defining controls, and monitoring processes to ensure adherence to enterprise data management standards. Key responsibilities include triaging and remediating data incidents, performing data analysis, training new users, and performing impact analysis stemming from data updates. Job expectations include helping to define data access and ownership by domain, conducting quality control, and overseeing data maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Ensures data is accurate, complete, and fit for performing data analyses through various testing procedures and data controls.
- Develops and executes Enterprise Data Management policies and standards, ensuring adherence across teams.
- Manages data-related incidents, identifying, communicating, and resolving or escalating issues as needed.
- Develops, manages, and executes controls, ensuring tracking, monitoring, and resolution of any control breaches.
- Partners with Business and Technology functions to drive the development of business and functional requirements documents.
- Applies technical or functional knowledge from Data Sourcing/Transport/Usage perspectives.
- Drives toward achieving objectives for the CFO DM Capital Traded Products team across Business Partner groups.
- Drives toward an optimal operating framework.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of Traded Products experience or relevant work experience.
- Strong Data Analysis & Reporting skills.
- Proficiency with SQL programming languages.
- Ability to self-prioritize competing tasks/priorities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to understand issues and know how and when to escalate.
