About the Role
Provide management and guidance to multi-functional project teams. Provide full accountability for project budgets, schedules, BOM management and deliverables. Technically capable of developing, managing and delivering highly complex technology projects. This includes developing complex SOW, project schedule & budget, and managing high complexity projects globally.
Responsibilities
- Communicate project status updates with internal stakeholders.
- Provide/Host weekly communication forums for project idea exchange and issue resolution.
- Effectively present information to internal stakeholders.
- Identify creative ways to streamline processes and systems.
- Utilize tools to monitor departmental expenses and project execution tracking.
- Translate complex data, maintain transparency, mitigate risks, and drive alignment across projects.
- Manage part number and BOM creation, BOM management, material management, and material lifecycle monitoring.
- Ensure technical requirements and objectives are gathered, understood, and translated for execution.
- Recognize project's Key Success Indicators and manage work within scope, quality, schedule, and budget constraints.
- Conduct project execution risk reviews and implement appropriate mitigation.
- Conduct formal project reviews with customers.
- Ensure products and services are delivered in accordance with contractual requirements, on time, and within budget.
- Co-work with Program Manager on monthly budget status updates.
- Provide regular updates on schedule execution in Core team meetings.
- Co-work with project development teams to ensure project execution, material tracking, and budget plans.
- Deliver weekly reports on project execution status, risks, and mitigation plans.
- Host weekly team meetings, ensuring action items are tracked and controlled.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business management OR equivalent education is required.
- 10 to 15 years’ experience in system level project management is required.
- Ability to form and lead strong multi-functional teams.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work with Global teams to complete tasks.
- Ability to bridge the gap between teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to respond in a timely fashion to common inquiries.
- Provide support with identifying and preparing new NRE proposals for project design change.
- Ability to travel up to 10%.
Skills
- Server/Storage experience is preferred.
- PMP Certification is a plus.
