About the Role
The Field Engineer Intern will assist superintendents with daily duties including project document flow, scheduling, quality control, safety, and other project-specific tasks. This role provides a first-hand understanding of job-site coordination, scheduling, quality control, and safety.
Responsibilities
- Assist superintendents with daily duties.
- Manage project document flow.
- Assist with scheduling.
- Support quality control efforts.
- Contribute to safety initiatives.
- Perform other duties specific to the project.
- Develop an understanding of job-site coordination.
- Gain knowledge of scheduling processes.
- Learn about quality control procedures.
- Understand safety protocols.
Requirements
- Verification of employment to work in the U.S. is required.
- Must be pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Construction Engineering/Management or a closely-related field.
- Must be within 18 months of graduating with a four-year degree.
- Must be able to work 40 hours a week for at least a three-month term.
- Ability to read and understand contracts, specifications, and architectural and engineering drawings.
- Ability to communicate clearly orally and in writing.
- Ability to handle simultaneous priorities and deadlines.
- Ability to work towards job site efficiency.
