About the Role

The Field Engineer Intern will assist superintendents with daily duties including project document flow, scheduling, quality control, safety, and other project-specific tasks. This role provides a first-hand understanding of job-site coordination, scheduling, quality control, and safety.

Responsibilities

  • Assist superintendents with daily duties.
  • Manage project document flow.
  • Assist with scheduling.
  • Support quality control efforts.
  • Contribute to safety initiatives.
  • Perform other duties specific to the project.
  • Develop an understanding of job-site coordination.
  • Gain knowledge of scheduling processes.
  • Learn about quality control procedures.
  • Understand safety protocols.

Requirements

  • Verification of employment to work in the U.S. is required.
  • Must be pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Construction Engineering/Management or a closely-related field.
  • Must be within 18 months of graduating with a four-year degree.
  • Must be able to work 40 hours a week for at least a three-month term.
  • Ability to read and understand contracts, specifications, and architectural and engineering drawings.
  • Ability to communicate clearly orally and in writing.
  • Ability to handle simultaneous priorities and deadlines.
  • Ability to work towards job site efficiency.
