About the Role
As a Club Host at Rocket Padel, you’ll be the face of the club, ensuring every visit is exceptional. You’ll play a key role in daily operations, supporting events, and maintaining the club’s premium atmosphere through impeccable service and attention to detail. This position is ideal for someone proactive, organised, and personable who thrives in a dynamic, high-end environment.
Responsibilities
- Deliver a warm, professional welcome to all members and guests.
- Assist with bookings, memberships, and general club inquiries.
- Anticipate and respond to member needs to ensure a consistently high level of satisfaction.
- Build positive relationships with members, creating a friendly and inclusive community atmosphere.
- Ensure courts, lounge areas, and changing rooms are immaculate at all times.
- Conduct regular checks to ensure areas are clean, stocked, and maintained to the highest standards.
- Support the daily operation of the bar and lounge, providing attentive and efficient service.
- Prepare and serve quick-preparation food and beverage items to a premium standard.
- Maintain cleanliness, organisation, and compliance with food safety procedures.
- Be a visible, approachable presence throughout the club - greeting, assisting, and engaging with members.
- Support event setup and delivery, contributing to a lively and social club atmosphere.
- Manage court bookings, equipment hire, and day-to-day service with professionalism and enthusiasm.
- Handle member feedback constructively, ensuring issues are followed up promptly and effectively.
- Ensure all health, safety, and hygiene protocols are followed.
- Carry out routine checks to maintain a safe, welcoming, and compliant environment for members and staff.
Requirements
- Experience in a customer-facing role within hospitality, leisure, or sport.
- Confident communicator who enjoys interacting with people and building relationships.
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills with a proactive “can-do” mindset.
- Passionate about service excellence and maintaining high standards.
- Interest in Padel or willingness to learn quickly about the sport.
- Regular afternoon and evening shifts (typically 2pm–10pm) and flexibility for weekends and special events.
- Reliability, consistency, and a positive, adaptable attitude are key to success in this role.
