About the Role
As a Part-Time Bank Teller, you will engage in assisting with various financial needs and processing transactions. You will provide exceptional customer service, resolve concerns, minimize risk, defend against fraud, refer product solutions, and escalate complex issues for timely resolution.
Responsibilities
- Welcome customers and deliver an exceptional banking experience from the moment they arrive.
- Process deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and other transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Build relationships by identifying customer needs and recommending relevant banking products and services.
- Educate customers on digital banking tools and self-service options.
- Resolve routine account inquiries and escalate complex issues as needed.
- Handle cash transactions while maintaining accurate drawer balances.
- Follow compliance, security, and fraud prevention procedures to minimize risk.
- Support branch operations, including audits, custodianship, and maintaining a clean, welcoming environment.
- Provide support to nearby branch locations as business needs require.
Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
- 6+ Months Cash Handling experience.
- 6+ Months Demonstrated customer service experience.
- Excellent customer service skills and a passion for helping others.
- Ability to identify and escalate concerns of risk to appropriate channels.
- Ability to follow directions, policies, and procedures.
- Effective listening and communication skills.
- Comfortable in using digital tools and technology to enhance customer engagement.
- Energetic, organized and able to multi-task in a fast-paced, changing environment.
- Understands the necessity and value of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Computer proficiency and basic math skills.
- Ability to work branch hours, which can include weekends and evenings.
- Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without requiring employer sponsorship to commence employment.
