About the Role
BD is a global medical technology company dedicated to advancing the world of health. This role is responsible for driving growth and managing base business within a defined territory, fostering strong customer relationships with key decision-makers and influencers.
Responsibilities
- Achieve and manage sales targets through effective management of base business and growth opportunities.
- Develop a pipeline of opportunities and a business plan for the territory.
- Develop and implement strategic plans in collaboration with sales, marketing, and clinical teams.
- Maximize hospital contracts within the assigned territory.
- Manage and negotiate product validations, conversions, and sustainability plans.
- Translate strategic marketing and sales plans into account-specific plans.
- Leverage product value propositions to achieve targeted sales and growth.
- Provide clinical end users with technical and best practice solutions.
- Establish, develop, and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within hospitals.
- Ensure high portfolio awareness within assigned territory.
- Become the customer subject matter expert to deliver win/win solutions.
- Lead account planning initiatives, including forecasting, funnel management, and sales process rigor.
- Execute RFP processes (Pre, During, and Post phases).
- Represent value propositions to the customer base within the territory.
- Maintain sales data and records to understand market trends.
- Uncover and share competitive intelligence and market insights.
- Effectively manage selling expenses.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the health care field or a proven track record of high-level sales success.
- Knowledge of the Canadian Healthcare System and regulatory environment.
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and a past clean driving record for a minimum of 3 years.
- Meet BD's auto safety standards.

- Greater Toronto (downtown core)
