About the Role

The LUCA program aims to upgrade METRO’s Finance to SAP S/4HANA, ensuring business continuity and mitigating risks. As a Technical Architect, you will design and implement SAP finance solutions, focusing on Subledgers and Account Receivable processes, requiring deep expertise in SAP subledgers and hands-on implementation experience.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with finance, process, and IT teams to convert requirements into practical technical designs.
• Lead project rollouts solutioning of business requirements, from solution design to implementation, while analyzing complex changes and troubleshooting issues.
• Ensure solutions align with Metro’s global template, enterprise architecture, SAP best practices, and compliance standards.
• Simplify and convey technical concepts to diverse audiences, including executives, business users, and technical teams.
• Oversee SI partner delivery by reviewing and approving requirements refinement, high level and detailed design documents, transports, and customizing documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s/Master’s in Business Informatics, Computer Science, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of Financial Accounting and Indirect Procurement.
• 10+ years in SAP AP, AR, SD.
• Familiarity in SAP Fiori and SAP Business Technology Platform.
• Serrala’s Autobank solution is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Finance-related SAP certifications are advantageous.
• Retail industry experience preferred for tailored SAP solutions.
• Excellent English proficiency (written and spoken).
• Willingness and ability to travel as required.
