About the Role
This role supports the maintenance and enhancement of relationships and communications with institutional investors, contributing to capital formation, product development, and client service. The Product Strategy team aids marketing efforts, provides fund reporting, and responds to investor information requests. The role involves direct engagement with current investors and participation in business development and fundraising.
Responsibilities
- Create and develop content for marketing and due diligence materials such as PPMs, pitch books, and DDQs.
- Build working knowledge of Direct Lending and Private Equity Solutions investments, developments, and market dynamics.
- Manage product lifecycle from pre-launch to final close, focusing on fund structures, LP negotiations, and competitor terms.
- Assist in creating a global marketing strategy pre-launch and manage the fundraising process.
- Provide client service to existing partners, handling LP matters with sound judgment.
- Liaise across functions to obtain and synthesize information from investment, legal, tax, operations, finance, and accounting teams.
- Handle day-to-day ad hoc communication with clients via email, telephone, or in person.
- Prepare presentations, handouts, analysis, and briefing packs for client meetings.
- Participate in and contribute to face-to-face client meetings.
- Develop and maintain project plans for major/ongoing initiatives with senior team members.
Requirements
- 2-6 years of relevant experience in the Private Credit Industry.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Relevant undergraduate degree (finance, economics, business etc.).
- Modelling skills in Microsoft Excel.
- Capability to produce first-rate presentation materials.
- Working knowledge of Direct Lending and Private Equity Solutions strategies.
- Experience in marketing, sales, and client communication.
- Technical financial modelling and analysis training and experience.
