About the Role

We are seeking a Platform Architect to shape and evolve the architecture and structure of our Procurement platform, a strategic capability supporting direct procurement for goods for resale. This role is critical to our business transformation, translating needs into robust architectural designs and actionable roadmaps.

Responsibilities

• Define Platform Architecture Strategy & Roadmap, setting the vision for platform evolution and driving roadmap execution.
• Design Scalable & Secure Architectures that balance performance, reliability, cost, and security.
• Select and Govern Technology by evaluating tools, establishing standards, and guiding design decisions.
• Ensure Operational Excellence by driving automation, observability, resilience, and performance improvements.
• Maintain & Evolve Architecture Documentation, keeping artifacts up to date as a single source of truth.

Requirements

• Expert experience in procurement processes, systems, or SAAS platforms.
• Experience with wholesale, retail, and supply chain technology landscapes.
• Experience with Oracle 12 (forms, SQL & PL/SQL) products software development knowledge and architecture.
• Proven architectural experience in cloud and SAAS environments.
• Strategic & Systems Thinking ability.
• Deep understanding of cloud-native architectures, APIs, integration patterns, and microservices.
• Strong grasp of technology governance, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
• Effective collaboration and influence skills.
• Knowledge of DevOps/SRE practices, automation, observability, and monitoring.
• Disciplined in maintaining architecture artifacts in tools like LeanIX, Confluence, and SharePoint.
• Awareness of emerging technologies and capability to run PoCs.
