About the Role

The Apartment Cleaner will clean, sanitize, and maintain the property building interiors and communal areas. The role focuses on common areas and property grounds, not occupied units.

Responsibilities

• Performs general cleaning and sanitizing tasks in assigned property, especially after maintenance work.
• Cleans and disinfects communal areas including entrances, hallways, windows, stairways, and laundry rooms.
• May be required to apply ice-melt (salt) on sidewalks and around entry doors during winter months.
• Builds relationships and maintains a high level of customer satisfaction with tenants.
• Assists with processing service requests related to cleanliness and property upkeep from residents.
• Coordinates work orders with maintenance staff.
• Maintains community integrity by ensuring confidentiality of resident and company information.
• Picks up and empties trash containers.
• Notifies maintenance of any malfunctioning equipment or areas.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Prior experience in residential/multi-family realty is a plus but not required.
• Detail-oriented and thorough.
• Ability to remain discreet and respect the privacy of residents, tenants, and/or guests.
• Sufficient ability to read, write, speak, understand, and communicate in English to complete work efficiently, effectively, and courteously.
• A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required.
• Prolonged periods standing and walking and frequently pulling, pushing, and bending.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds at times.
