Responsibilities
- Practice responsible alcohol service in accordance with local and state laws, including identification verification and intoxication prevention.
- Assist in all aspects of store operations, focusing on cleanliness, product display fullness, signage quality, safety, and customer service.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by being knowledgeable on all products and providing excellent sales service.
- Maintain awareness of all product knowledge, and current or upcoming product trends.
- Set and achieve the highest standards in retail execution.
- Communicate regularly with Store Team Leaders regarding proper store operations.
- Operate POS, make change, conduct credit card transactions, and account for all monies at the end of each shift.
- Respond promptly to customer needs and questions, and request assistance when necessary.
- Ensure all financial transactions are correct and maintain accuracy.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Strong knowledge of company policies, goals, and standards.

- Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness, seeking to improve quality and applying feedback.
- Full knowledge of all TABC regulations applicable to the company.
- Progressive retail experience.
- Product knowledge in wine and spirits.
- Ability to stand for 4-hour intervals, for a total of 8 hours per day, up to 40 hours per week.
- Ability to frequently climb a ladder.
- Ability to frequently twist, bend, stoop, kneel, and crawl.
- Ability to frequently lift up to 50 pounds, repeatedly.
- Ability to work 8 hours at a time.
- Ability to work on weekdays, weekends, and to work opening, mid-day, and closing shifts.
- Ability to work alone during weekdays, weekends, opening, mid-day, and closing shifts.
